Bulkhead Connection Overview

Below is a visual guide depicting the typical bulkhead connection points for the devices that are used in conjunction with the Deep Trekker™ Revolution. Refer to this guide if you are ever in doubt of which bulkhead to connect a specific device to. Only the tether port and battery charge ports will need to be connected/disconnected during normal use of the ROV. Thrusters, cameras, sensors, and sonar connections should never be disconnected from the bulkheads unless it is necessary for service or replacement of parts. Always ensure your bulkhead connections are fully engaged and tight before deploying the ROV and ensure that unused ports have port covers installed.

Ballasting System

Ballast plates on the Revolution are located on the either side of the battery mounting rails as shown below. They can be added or removed by loosening or removing the thumb screws or M4 bolts with the provided 3mm Allen key.
