Begin by selecting the way point missions tab from the menu sidebar
Then select the create mission button
You will then be prompted to select either
build a waypoint mission
or
Import a mission (This feature is not yet available)
You will now start with your first point
This can be done by:
Dragging and dropping
Inputting coordinates
Searching for a known location
Once the first point is placed, you will be prompted to name the mission
By default it will be named as the date and time the mission was created
Select the create button
Once the mission is created you can add any number of secondary waypoints
along the top bar you will see:
the total count of waypoints
Estimated Duration of the mission
Estimated total length of the mission
To begin the mission, and return to the piloting screen, press the play button
IMPORTANT NOTE: Starting a mission does not start a recording, this must be started separately
Once you have completed your mission and no longer want your waypoints present on your map, you can select the X button
To begin mission planning in the BRIDGE Controller we can either create in the controller or import
Once in the mission creator menu, you will be presented with a few options:
Renaming the mission
Adding action sequences
Deleting your mission
To begin, name your mission and add an action sequence
Click on create an action and chose one of the options
For Manual Missions, only waypoints are needed
For autonomous missions (Beta), speed and altitude/depth commands can be added in as steps
Waypoints can be moved around on the map with the joystick or by inputting the lat/long
Each individual waypoint can be named as well
Once all required actions have been added, return to the main mission page
To import a mission select import form the mission planner main menu
Open the storage device where the mission is stored and select the CSV or GPX file
Mission files should follow the format shown below
You will then be presented with the mission
To begin a mission, select the manual mission button in the mission main menu
Once the mission has begun, all waypoints will be shown on the map for you to pilot between
IMPORTANT NOTE: Starting a mission does not start a recording, this must be started separately
To end the mission, navigate back to the mission planner main menu and select end manual mission
To begin an automated mission, select the beta autonomous mission option
You will be prompted with a quick disclaimer regarding situational awareness and autonomy
Once confirmed, FN and ENTER must be pressed to begin the mission
IMPORTANT NOTE: Starting a mission does not start a recording, this must be started separately
Any input registered on the controller joysticks will pause the mission
Once the mission is complete you will be returned to the mission planner menu
