Onboard Recordings

Access Recordings on 4K UHD Camera’s SD Card

The following are steps on how to access the 4K UHD Camera’s internal SD card to view, download, and delete video recordings stored on the camera.

Prerequisites

A computer with a modern web browser (Chrome/Firefox)

Up To Date firmware on the Controller and 4K UHD Camera (6.10 and 1.7 minimum)

Ethernet cable

Set Up

Option 1: PC directly connected to Controller

Before connecting the ethernet cable, turn ON the DHCP setting on the Controller. This is found in Settings->Network

Ensure the PC’s network configuration is set up to receive a dynamic IP address over DHCP (This is the default on Windows PCs)

Connect an ethernet cable between the Controller and the PC

Option 2: PC and Controller each connected to Router

Before connecting the ethernet cable, turn OFF the DHCP setting on the Controller. This is found in Settings->Network

Ensure the PC’s network configuration is set up to receive a dynamic IP address over DHCP (This is the default on Windows PCs)

Connect an ethernet cable between the Controller and a LAN port on the router

Connect a second ethernet cable between the PC and a LAN port on the router. Alternatively, the PC can be connected to the router by Wi-Fi - however file access may be slower in this case.
